Cat people are smarter than dog people, according to new study

Pet owner study

(FOX19) - What does your pet say about you? It seems that "cat people" and "dog people" really do have different personality traits.

A new study from Carroll University in Wisconsin says that cat owners tend to have a higher intelligence level than dog owners.

Research reveals that cat people score higher on tests than dog people. However, it also shows that dog lovers tend to be more energetic, outgoing and rule-abiding.

Psychologists involved in the study believe that it all depends on the environment of the pet owner.
