Police identify woman hurt by plane propeller

MIDDLETOWN, OH (FOX19) - Middletown police have identified the Start Skydiving employee struck by a plane propeller Sunday as Sarah Rhoads.

Rhoads was flown at about 1 p.m. to Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton with severe head injuries. Authorities said the incident happened at the skydive center, located near Middletown Regional Airport, involving a grounded plane.

The Hamilton-Middleton Journal-News reports she is a longtime employee of Start Skydiving.

The Federal Aviation Administration was notified and are continuing the investigation.
