Man's pants stolen after being shot outside Nashville club

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

A man was injured in a shooting outside a club in the Gulch on Tuesday morning, and police are still looking for the gunman.

Police say the 35-year-old male victim was sitting in his car outside The Cave on 9th Avenue South when a man with a handgun approached him and demanded his pants just after 1 a.m. Tuesday.

The man reportedly shot the victim in the foot before taking the victim's pants and leaving the area.

Police say the gunman is a black male who is 5'10" and 180 pounds. He was wearing a white T-shirt, black pants and black tennis shoes at the time of the shooting.

The shooting victim took himself to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he is being treated for non-critical injuries.
