WESTWOOD, OH (FOX19) - Cincinnati police released the chilling 911 calls from those who witnessed two pit bulls maul a 6-year-old girl  Wednesday night in Westwood.

"There [are] three pit bulls and they got a little girl and they're slinging her all over the street. …And there's blood all over," one woman describes to the dispatcher.

"There's a pit bull out here eating up a little baby. I don't know who's kid it is," another witness horrifying describes.

Officers said Zainabou Drame was outside playing in her  neighborhood with her brother, only a few houses down the street from where she lives, when two pit bulls attacked. She was taken to Cincinnati Children's Hospital where she is listed in critical but stable condition.

Responding officers arrived at the scene in the 2900 block of Aquadale Lane when the dogs were still actively attacking the child on the sidewalk. Police said four officers distracted the dogs and then fired shots, killing both of them. A third dog, not involved in the attack, is now in the custody of the SPCA.

The owner of the dogs, 24-year-old Zontae Irby, was arrested early Thursday morning. Police searched Irby's home and charged him with weapons under disability, drug abuse and drug trafficking. Charges are pending in relation to the dog attack, authorities said.
