RECIPE: Corn off the Cobb Salad with Fresh Basil

Kim Baretta of Garnish Catering visited the FOX19 Morning Xtra Thursday morning with some great Father's Day meal ideas.

Recipe serves 6:

6 ears of corn

4 Tablespoons butter

½ teaspoon lemon juice

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon pepper

1/8 teaspoon cayenne

¼ cup basil, chopped

METHOD

Shuck the corn

Boil the corn on the cobb, approximately 7-10 minutes.

While corn is cooking, melt butter

Stir in remaining ingredients to the melted butter.

Cut kernels off the cobb when cool enough to handle.

Toss the corn with the butter mixture.
