Cincinnati Police are investigating a pedestrian-involved car accident in Avondale Wednesday morning that resulted in life threatening injuries.
Police say 18-year-old Keonte Cephas was hit by a car near 3458 Reading Road at about 8:30 a.m.
According to police, the man was crossing Reading when he was struck by a car driven by 16-year-old Lawrence Holloway II. Holloway and his passenger, Khema Holloway, 14, were not injured in the crash.
Police say Cephas did not yield to the right of way when he crossed the street.
Cephas sustained serious head injuries and was sent to University of Cincinnati Medical Center where he is listed in critical condition.
