RECIPE: "Old fass-ioned" and steak marinade

Old Fass-ioned cocktail

Ingredients (per serving):

  • 3 parts VOM FASS Orangecello
  • 1 part VOM FASS Rye Whisky
  • 1 part VOM FASS Fassmix Grenadine
  • Ice Cubes
  • 1 orange slice
  • 1 maraschino cherry


  • Place ice cubes in a whisky glass.
  • Combine the rye whisky and orangecello in a shaker with ice and shake vigorously.
  • Pour ingredients over ice and garnish with an orange slice and maraschino cherry.

Red Wine Herb Garlic Steak Marinade


  • 4 oz. VOM FASS Spanish Red Wine Vingre Viejo
  • 4 oz. VOM FASS Herb Garlic Oil
  • 1 shallot, minced
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cracked black peppercorns
  • 2 bay leaves, crushed


  • Mix all ingredients together in a bowl.
  • Add steaks.
  • Cover and let marinade in refrigerator for 1 to 24 hours, depending on preference and type of steak.
  • More tender cuts should marinade for less time, while tougher cuts will require more time.
