Covington’s Goebel Pool closed after medical emergency

COVINGTON, KY (FOX19) -

Crews responded to Goebel Pool on Tuesday afternoon for what authorities say was a medical emergency that led to a man's death.

The man was transported to the hospital and Covington authorities have not said whether he died there or at the pool.

Police have released few details about the situation but said foul play is not suspected.

Goebel Pool is located on 88th street and is part of a public park. The pool is closed for the remainder of Tuesday.
