Frozen turkey crashes through woman's windshield
A New York state woman is in critical condition after a 20-pound frozen turkey smashed through the windshield of her moving car. Suffolk County police say the incident happened early Saturday morning when the turkey was tossed out the window of an oncoming car in Ronkonkoma, on Long Island. It knocked out the driver. Police say a passenger took hold of the steering wheel and guided the car to the side of the road. The 44-year-old driver from Long Island is in critical condition in a local hospital. Police say a group of teenagers using a stolen credit card bought the turkey at a supermarket earlier that night. They are being sought for questioning.
