SHARONVILLE, OH (FOX19) -

Dozens of people showed up to SPCA Saturday hoping to adopt dogs with a rough past.

The dogs were rescued from inhumane conditions at a West Price Hill home in February.

The dogs, all 66 of them, were put up for adoption at the SPCA Sharonville location. After a huge turnout, staffers said they were confident that all of the dogs would find a home.

The dogs received medical care after they were found but representatives of the SPCA say some of them will require ongoing veterinary care.

Kathie Fuller, a volunteer at SPCA, said the dogs are doing well after being rescued.

"Now they're bathed, they're cleaned up, they're happy and if you look around the kennels, they're jumping up and down and playing, acting like little puppies like they should," she said.
