Program gives bikes to Cincinnati young adults

Local organizations have partnered to give bikes to Cincinnati young adults this summer.

The free program, called Earn a Bike, requires the students to attend bike course sessions this summer. At the end of the program students receive a bicycle and helmet.

There are two program locations, Northside and Madisonville.

Northside

Queen City Bike, Mobo Bike Co-op and Rails to Trail partnered

Session 1- June 23-July 14

Session 2- July 21-August 11.

Students meet Monday afternoons from 1-5 p.m. at Mobo Bicycle Collective (1415 Knowlton Ave.)

Madisonville

Queen City Bike and Cincinnati Holiday Bike Drive partnered

Ages 10-17

Week 1: June 24-June 27 9 a.m. to noon

Week 2: June 30-July 3 9 a.m. to noon

For both locations, students are asked to wear comfortable clothes that can get dirty.
