A nursing home employee was found guilty Thursday on charges of raping a 92-year-old patient at the home.

Samuel Onyenweaku, 22, of West Chester, was charged with rape, felonious assault and patient abuse from a November 2013 incident at the Amber Park Nursing Home on E. Galbraith Road.

According to the indictment, Onyenweaku worked as a nurse's aide at the home. He was fired and arrested after another nurse walked in on Onyenweaku in the private bathroom of a female patient's room.

Onyenweaku faces three to eleven years in prison and will be sentenced July 26.
