NWS confirms tornado in Brunswick

BRUNSWICK, OH (WOIO) -

The National Weather Service has confirmed a tornado in Brunswick during Monday evening's storms. 

NWS meteorologists say it was most likely a high EF1 or a low EF2 tornado. 

Storm damage is extensive throughout the area, near the areas of Andrea Drive and Royal Oak Drive. There have been no reports of injuries. 

At least 10 homes are damaged, most of them are uninhabitable. 

At the time of the tornado, around 7:10 p.m., there was no tornado warning for Medina County, only a severe thunderstorm warning.
