HIGHLAND COUNTY, OH (FOX19) - Investigators are seeking the public's assistance in solving three arson cases in Highland County.
According to the fire marshal, investigators believe all three residential fires may be related.
These are the dates and addresses of the fires:
- Tuesday, June 3 at a barn located at 3621 Woods Road in Hillsboro
- Thursday, June 12 at a trailer and barn located at 3863 Carmel Road in Hillsboro
- Monday, June 23 at home at 13731 Saw Mill Road in Hillsboro
The Brushcreek Fire Department responded to all three fires with the help of other neighboring departments.
A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered by the Blue Ribbon Arson Committee for information leading to identification of the person/people responsible.
"Information from the public is crucial to solving these kinds of cases," said State Fire Marshal Larry Flowers. "Investigators want to hear from anyone who saw something out of the ordinary at or around the time of the fire or who may have heard someone speaking about the fire with an unusual level of interest or knowledge."
