BATAVIA, OH (FOX19) -

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal accident Wednesday afternoon in Batavia involving man reported missing earlier this week.

Emergency crews were dispatched just before 2 p.m. to James E. Sauls Sr. Drive, located near the University of Cincinnati East Campus and Batavia High School.

A man was found dead inside of a wrecked vehicle off the road. The Clermont County Coroner confirmed the identity of the victim was 59-year-old Ralph Bernhardt, who went missing Monday morning on his way to work in Peebles, Ohio.
