Missing Miami Twp. man murdered, nephew charged

MIAMI TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -

The nephew of a missing Miami Township man is facing charges for his murder.

38-year-old Cory Hall was arrested and charged Thursday with one count of murder and one count of abuse of a corpse after the police found the body of his uncle, 54-year-old Paul Bramlage.

Hall was picked up Thursday morning on unrelated traffic warrants, according to police. At that point, he was brought in for questioning by the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office regarding the disappearance of his uncle.

As a result of the interview, police said Hall led detectives to a location in Dearborn County where they found Bramlage's body.

Earlier this week, sheriff's deputies report that Bramlage hadn't been seen, or heard from, in nearly a month.

Authorities told FOX19 they're confident Cory Hall is the suspect because of specific and accurate information about the location of Bramlage's body, as well as other evidence.

"The deceased body of Paul Bramlage was found in a remote area that was certainly not put there by natural causes.  We're continuing to investigate that and try to figure out exactly how it found that location," said Mike Robison with the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office.

The incident is still under investigation by police.  Robison says an autopsy is expected to determine exactly how Bramlage died.
