HAMILTON COUNTY, OH (FOX19) - The full closure of northbound Interstate 75, originally scheduled for this weekend, has been postponed to July 1 and 2.
All lanes of northbound I-75 will be closed between the Mitchell Avenue and S.R. 562 interchanges to accommodate work to replace a railroad bridge overpass.
The closure will begin at 11 p.m. each night and reopen to traffic by 5 a.m. the following day.
The northbound I-75 exit to Mitchell Avenue will remain open to traffic. The suggested detour is west on I-74 to east on I-275 to I-75.
The work is part of the I-75 Millcreek Expressway improvement projects.
The Ohio Department of Transportation said delays will be significant and drivers are encourage to use alternate routes.
