A 64-year-old woman has been cited for crashing her car Tuesday into a Weight Watchers storefront at the Anderson Towne Center, causing significant damage and an injury.

The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office said Minnie Gantzer of Cincinnati attempted to pull into her parking spot in front of the building when she stepped on the accelerator instead of the break. Her vehicle drove over the curb and all the way into the business.

"Either the car hit me, or one of the building refuse hit me.  I don't know," said Nancy Futrell, who was inside when the car slammed into the building. Futrell suffered minor injuries.

Gantzer was transported to Anderson Mercy Hospital for treatment.

Gantzer was cited for failure to maintain reasonable control. Drugs/alcohol are not believed to be a factor in the incident, deputies said.

"It's amazing how in an instant your life can change.  Luckily for us, ours didn't," said Futrell.

The incident happened at 12:21 p.m. in the 7400 block of Beechmont Avenue.
