NORTH COLLEGE HILL, OH (FOX19) - By Katharine Wiley
An 83-year-old woman remains in the hospital after being attacked June 17 while she was walking home with her walker, purse and groceries in North College Hill.
Two suspects, a black male and a black female, knocked the victim to the ground, stole her purse and walked away around 8:30 p.m., according to police. The victim was lying on the ground when passers-by stopped to help her.
The woman was transported to University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Authorities say the act caused the victim to suffer a broken femur, shoulder, ankle and a concussion.
The attack took place on West Galbraith Rd in front of Rose's in North College Hill and the suspects are still at large.
Police released suspect details Tuesday, describing a pair of suspects as heavy-set and last seen wearing white T-shirts. Any information should be sent to the North College Hill Police Department (513-521-7172) or Crime Stoppers (1-866-845-8477).
