Gas prices begin to fall after holiday weekend peak

(FOX19) - Gas prices are starting to fall after the July 4th peak that put prices near $4 a gallon.

The prices last weekend reached a six-year high.

Experts say the price drop is due to the increased supply of fuel in storage.

According to Gas Buddy, prices should continue to go down now through Labor Day, with only occasional flare ups. They say prices could be below $3 throughout the Midwest after Labor Day.
