Safety regulators urge holiday shoppers to beware of recalled toys

With the gift-giving holidays around the corner, the government is reminding people to beware of recalled toys. The Consumer Product Safety Commission has compiled its annual top ten list of children's product safety recalls. Among the items on the list are a Nerf football and a Batmobile toy car. The ball contains hard plastic that has caused facial cuts, while the car has some sharp plastic edges that can puncture or cut. The toys should all be off store shelves, but the commission worries early shoppers might have the recalled gifts stashed under their beds. The commission says all the products were recalled in the past year.
