Airport looks to ease holiday travel headaches

The number of holiday travelers is expected to spike again this year and at least one airport is making some changes to accommodate the crowds.

Passengers flying out of the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport this week will be given the option of taking a ten-minute bus ride to a remote screening station. Airport officials are expected 71-thousand departing passengers between now and next Monday -- a 15-percent increase over last year. Nationally, four-point-six million people are expected to fly this holiday. That's the highest number since before September eleventh.

Cincinnati airport officials say even with the added checkpoints, lines still could top 40 minutes during peak times.
