(FOX19) - A recent investigation revealed the body of a woman found in Miami, Florida in 1979 may have been an Ohio runaway.
The Center for Missing and Exploited Children is seeking help from the public in identifying the woman.
The body was found in a Miami parking lot only hours after she died. Officials have not said how she died, but the Center says they have been working to identify her for the past 35 years.
The new lead indicates the woman, who was found deceased at the age of 17-25, may have been an Ohio runaway named Tina. There is a chance the Ohio woman was never reported missing.
A facial reconstruction image was released with a request that anyone from Ohio please share the photo in hopes of making a positive identification in the case.
The woman is described to have had strawberry blonde hair and hazel eyes. She reportedly had burns on the inside of each calf possibly received from a motorcycle exhaust pipe.
