FORECAST: Temps drop to near-record lows

The record temperature for July 29 was set Tuesday at 50 degrees. The coldest day in July ever recorded was 47 degrees on July 1, 2008 and July 11, 1963.

It is another cool morning out there and a few low-lying rural areas will drop into the 40s with the official low around 55 degrees. That is 4 degrees warmer than the record.

High temperatures today will reach the upper 70s and by noon we will se a few showers pop up.
