BUTLER COUNTY, OH (FOX19) - Two are dead after a car crash yesterday in Hanover Township.
Butler County deputies and emergency rescue personal were dispatched to the 2100 block of Morman Road for a single car crash at approximately 4:45 p.m.
Preliminary reports indicate that Nancy Myers, 47, of 1418 Morman Road was traveling not too far from her residence northbound on Morman Road when she lost control of her vehicle causing her to go off the right side of the road into a group of trees.
"It was really loud," Jan Bowling, neighbor, said.
According to Bowling, the car landed on its top in the woods and parts of the car were scattered in the road.
The vehicle came to a rest on its top causing entrapment for both the driver and passenger, Charles Griffin, 58, of 797 Louise Avenue in Fairfield.
Both occupants were pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Butler County Serious Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team (S.T.A.R.T.) and the Butler County Coroner's Office.
