Police: Teens stole, drove $200,000 Ferrari

ANDERSON TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -

Two teens appeared in Hamilton County Court Monday after allegedly stealing a $200,000 Ferrari. 

Sheriff's Deputies arrested Alexander Dause, 18 and Whitney Taylor, 18 both of Anderson Township Sunday night.

The pair are accused of breaking into a garage at a home in the Riverview Estates neighborhood Sunday just before 5 a.m. Once inside, they allegedly stole the homeowners 2007 599 GTB Ferrari. The homeowners surveillance cameras allegedly show the crime being committed. 

Court records show the car and home belong to Joe Mayernick, a partner with Alliance Healthcare Partners and founder of Healthcare Waste Solutions.

During questioning, both teens allegedly told police they drove the exotic sports car. 

Both Dause and Taylor are charged with breaking and entering and theft and are free on bond.
