(CNN) - A map provided to CNN by the U.S. government map shows the crash site of Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 in Ukraine.

The yellow line indicates the plane's flight path, and the yellow fireball shows where it hit the ground.

The green line is the flight path of the surface-to-air missile U.S. officials believe took it down.

The orange fireball indicates the detonation.

U.S officials say evidence shows the missile came from Pro-Russian rebels.

Officials say there are telephone intercepts and video of a Buk missile launcher traveling into Russia with at least one missile missing.

Nearly 300 people died in the crash.
