ZZ Top cancels Horseshoe concert

Rockers ZZ Top have canceled their July 27 concert at Cincinnati's Horseshoe casino due to a band member undergoing surgery.

Bassist Dusty Hill will surgery this week to remove kidney stones, the group announced Monday on their Facebook page. Sunday's show at The Shoe, the casino's outdoor concert venue, has been axed along with dates in Louisville, Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Carolina and Pennsylvania.

The tour will pick up on August 6 when Hill, who was a founding member of the band, has made a full recovery.

The Cincinnati concert is not planned to be rescheduled and tickets have been refunded through Ticketmaster, according a tweet from the casino.
