CLERMONT COUNTY, OH (FOX19) - A major overhaul of State Route 32 in Clermont County is underway to address current traffic issues in the area, as well as handle future growth in the community.
The project started in June and is project to be complete by Fall 2015.
It's costing more than $42 million dollars, but the goal is to improve safety, create more efficient traffic flow, and decrease the accident rates on the roadway.
- Widening portions of SR 32 from Old SR 74 to Eastgate Square Drive
- Constructing new ramps to provide new access to SR 32 from I-275
- New ramps and structures under I-275 that will allow for the Aicholtz Road Connector
- Increasing the spacing distance between on and off ramps to eliminate weaving traffic.
Project managers anticipate a significant amount of growth in the area and the new traffic patterns will accommodate those additional motorists.
