LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Two people are in custody after police chased suspects in a Louisville robbery into Indiana early Friday morning.

Indiana State Police say 30-year-old Dawan Q. Mulazim of Lexington, KY, and his passenger, Quincinio Canada, 22, were arrested after leading police on a low-speed chase across the Sherman-Minton Bridge.

Louisville Metro Police said they received a report of a robbery at the Circle K on Portland Avenue in Louisville around 2:30 a.m. July 25. The suspects fled the scene and were followed by police. The pursuit ended about 15 minutes later on East Oak Street in New Albany.

Mulazim and Canada are charged with first-degree robbery, fleeing or evading police, and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.

They are being held at the Floyd County jail.

No one was injured during the chase.
