RAINSVILLE, AL (WAFF) - We all have those moments when we have to just rip the bandage off quickly to avoid more pain.

But this little boy didn't want to rip the bandage off at all.

Rainsville, AL couple Robert and Mandi Reed videoed their youngest son, Matthew, as he went through quite a traumatic experience.

While his mom tried to help him get a bandage off, Matthew cried and repeated over and over, "I can't live like this."

His parents said they aren't sure where he picked up the phrase, but he says it every time he gets upset.

Everyone can relate to the struggle of little Matthew in this YouTube video.

Don't you ever just think, "I can't live like this" when you stub your toe or get something in your eye?

A bandage removal can be a painful experience, but Matthew Reed got through it.
