Huge Giant Eagle Market District hiring event at the I-X Center

Giant Eagle Market District is looking for 600 people to add to the team.

The massive hiring event took place at the I-X Center on Saturday, July 26 at the in the ballroom.

Applicants watched demonstrations by Market District chefs, and enjoyed samples, giveaways, and other entertainment.

The company is hiring for the new Strongsville Market District, as well as additional Giant Eagle, GetGo and Market District store locations throughout Cleveland.

Open positions are: bakers, chefs, cashiers and cheesemongers as well as roles in areas such as deli, grocery, gourmet foods, meat and seafood, produce, restaurant and customer service.

Candidates were able to participate in an on-site group interview, with the potential for many job offers to be presented.

Giant Eagle Market District says they are looking for candidates who love food and are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.
