(FOX19) - Amidst allegations that the Ohio State University band director ignored a 'sexualized culture' within the band, a recording was released of the director berating students.
The Columbus Dispatch obtained the audio recording of former band director Jonathon Waters yelling at a band member, recorded on July 9.
Waters was fired Thursday after an investigation found that he was aware of a 'sexualized culture' in the band that included students being pressured to march in their underwear, along with other sexually themed stunts.
Waters had directed the band since 2012 and was famous for leading the band's intricate halftime performances.
