CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International airport is topping a list it doesn't want to be on.
CVG was named the nation's most expensive airport by the Bureau of Transportation Statistics.
According to the study released Tuesday, Cincinnati had the highest ticket prices for the first quarter of 2014 at $514. The average fare was $381, down from $384 at the same time last year.
Sanford, Fla. had the cheapest ticket prices in the nation for the first quarter of this year.
Last year, CVG was named the nation's second most expensive airport under Huntsville, Alabama.
