COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -

Colerain Township authorities say they received false information about a shooting Wednesday at the Northbrook Pony Keg.

The incident happened just after 11:30 a.m. at Northbrook Pony Keg, located at 9452 Pippin Road (map). Authorities say 23-year-old Deshawn Terry was transported to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg.

After interviewing witnesses and obtaining physical evidence, Colerain Police say they determined Terry had provided false statements and that his injury was self-inflicted. The circumstances surrounding the incident were not released.

Charges are pending and investigators are awaiting forensics tests before officially filing charges.

The pony keg is located just north of Mount Healthy Animal Hospital.
