GAZA CITY (CNN) - The fighting between Israel and Hamas got a little too close to a CNN crew Sunday.

An airstrike sent correspondent Martin Savidge diving to the floor. The building targeted was about 200 meters from the CNN bureau in Gaza City.

Savidge reported first hearing a knock on the roof of the building, followed by the explosion.

Another blast later followed, making Savidge and the crew jump again.

Israel and Hamas agreed to another 72-hour cease-fire proposed by Egypt on Sunday, according to officials from both sides. It was expected to go into effect at midnight local time.

The temporary cease-fire would allow for negotiations between Israelis and Palestinians.
