It's been a very muggy Monday afternoon but relief is on the way.

Occasional showers will pop up through late evening and then settle down. By dawn Tuesday, we'll get some clearing along with lower humidity.

As the cool air pushes into the FOX19 viewing area, we will see a few showers pop up Tuesday, but by then, you will notice the difference with much lower humidity in place over the Tri State.

The weather will be dry with the exception of the slight chance of a few brief sprinkly showers late Thursday as a reinforcing shot of Canadian air arrives.

The humidity stays nice until it begins to increase on Sunday.
