Here's a good way to help the troops celebrate the holidays. A project called "Trees for Overseas" is underway in the Tri-State. Just stop by their display at Newport on the Levee, and order a mini-christmas tree. They'll decorate it with the names of your family and friends and ship it out to any soldier who can't make it home for the holidays. You can send one of the mini-trees for free, but sponsors are asking for donations. A local company called Party Central Entertainment organized this event. It runs through December 8th at Newport on the Levee.
