While you were sleeping, the Internet never stopped. And it's amazing what the Internet comes up with.

Check out what people are tweeting, sharing and talking about.

Students lash out at Michelle Obama for junk food-less vending machines

Many students went back to school this week to find their favorite snacks gone from the vending machine and they're pointing the blame at the First Lady via Twitter.

New federal standards, backed by Michelle Obama, limit what products can be sold in school vending machines. It aims to offer more healthy snacks under 200 calories and lower sodium in the effort to fight the childhood obesity epidemic.

Frustrated students have posted pictures of the health food-filled vending machines to twitter and more bold kids have taken matters into their own hands by bringing their favorite snacks from home.

Chemical filled tea burns woman at restaurant

67-year-old Jan Harding took a drink of her iced tea last week at a Utah restaurant, spit it out and reportedly exclaimed "I think I just drank acid."

Harding was partially correct, as a toxic chemical used to clean deep frying machines was mistaken by an employee for sugar to sweeten a pot of iced tea, according to the restaurant.

The attorney for Harding says she is in critical condition at a Utah burn unit. Meanwhile, investigators are trying to determine how exactly the chemical ended up in the sweet tea container.

Downton Abbey makes a historical mistake

Producers of Downton Abbey, the PBS period drama set in the early 1900s, made a historical mistake on a promotional photo for the show's next season.

Upon first look at the pic, you might not notice the empty plastic water bottle sitting on the mantle. But once you spot it, it's glaringly out of place amongst the 1920s outfits and décor.

The show has since removed the photo but, of course, evidence remains on the Internet.

And in case you're wondering, plastic bottles were not introduced in England until the 1960s, a good 30 years after the upcoming season is set.
