DEERFIELD TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - The suspect who led police on a car and foot chase through Warren County last week has been taken into custody, police said.

Christopher D. Manley, 39, was arrested Monday morning on charges of failure to comply with the order of a police officer, obstructing official business as well as an outstanding warrant for trafficking methamphetmine.

A warrant out of Harrodsburg, Ky. was previously issued for Manley, of Whitley City, Ky., and authorities were alerted nationwide.

Warren County sheriff's deputies attempted to stop Manley in his vehicle Friday night along Interstate 71. Authorities said he sped off and eventually jumped out of the vehicle on foot near Mason Montgomery and Socialville Fosters roads in Deerfield Township.

Authorities were unable to track his whereabouts and called off the search a few hours later.

On Monday morning, Warren County Lieutenant John Faine was driving on Mason Montgomery Road in Deerfield Township when he spotted a man crossing the road who matched Manley's description.

Faine decided to investigate further and found Manley hiding behind a dumpster at Bruegger's Bagels, officials said.

He was taken into custody without incident and is being held at the Warren County Jail on a $125,000 bond.

Manley will appear in a Warren County courtroom Tuesday for arraignment.
