What a story . . . "Tri-State school district doesn't allow staff to use the word Christmas." It would be something if it were true. But despite what you heard Wednesday on 700 WLW the Princeton School District did not come up with that rule. An afternoon caller claimed an e-mail from the principal called the C-word off limits. Instead a school spokesperson says the e-mail discusses live ornamental decorations not being allowed and to be sensitive that some students may not celebrate the same holidays as others. The erroneous radio call did cause quite a stir and a discussion on the air. It also caused Princeton High School to receive a long list of complaints. All is well that ends well.
