CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - The Reds announced Sunday that they have traded pitcher Jonathan Broxton to the Milwaukee Brewers for two players to be named later.
The Reds made the announcement Sunday afternoon, shortly after the team began their game against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Broxton was scheduled to make $1.2 million for the remainder of the 2014 season and $9 million in 2015. Broxton held a 1.86 ERA in 48.1 innings this season with seven saves and a 4-2 record.
