NOBLESVILLE, IN (WRTV/CNN) – Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay pleaded guilty on Tuesday to one misdemeanor charge of driving while intoxicated.

The 55-year-old was arrested in March after being pulled over by police in Carmel, IN.

Investigators said he was intoxicated and had the prescription painkiller hydrocodone and oxycodone in his system.

As part of the plea agreement, the other misdemeanor charge against Irsay was dismissed.

After the legal agreement was reached, the NFL announced its punishment for violating the league's personal conduct police.

Irsay was suspended for six games and was fined $500,000.
