A Wilmington, Ohio woman has been charged for the overdose death of a 38-year-old man who she allegedly sold drugs to.
Police say 33-year-old Brandy Camp was arrested last week after selling a mix of heroin and fentanyl in March to a man who later overdosed on the drugs and died.
Camp's 13 charges include involuntary manslaughter, reckless homicide and heroin trafficking.
"This case should send a strong message to heroin dealers in this state that they will be held accountable if the drugs they sell cause a deadly overdose," said Attorney General DeWine, who has supported an Ohio bill that would increase criminal penalties for those selling a controlled substance that leads to an overdose death.
Camp is in the Clinton County jail on a $50,000 bond.
