86-year-old Paul Browning was attacked Sunday outside Good Samaritan where he was visiting his wife as she recovered from surgery. He suffered major swelling, bruising and received stitches.

Doctors told Browning that it will take several weeks for his injuries to completely heal but released him to go home Wednesday, his son told FOX19 NOW.
Authorities have arrested Craig Phelps, the man they say is responsible for beating Browning and stealing his wallet as he left Good Sam. Phelps is scheduled to appear in court next week.
