CVS changes name to CVS Health

The nation's second-largest drugstore chain will tweak its corporate name and stop the sale of tobacco nearly a month sooner than planned.

CVS Caremark will now be known as CVS Health. The signs on its roughly 7,700 drugstores won't change, so the tweak may not register with shoppers.

In a video statement on the company website, CEO Larry Merlo said by eliminating the sale of cigarettes and tobacco products "we can make a difference in the health of all Americans."

CVS is also launching a #OneGoodReason social media campaign and program to help smokers quit.

The company has estimated the move could cost the chain about $2 billion in annual sales, but that's a fraction of its revenue, which totaled $126 billion in 2013.

One female customer tweeted,  "@CVSHealth today, when you stopped selling, I called my local CVS, had them refill my patches, to try to quit again. #OneGoodReason #life"

Jeff Ruby tweets to find booze thief

Cincinnati restaurateur Jeff Ruby used his twitter account Wednesday in an attempt to track down a man who broke in to his downtown restaurant.

Ruby said the thief stole "quite a few bottles" of liquor from his Jeff Ruby's Steakhouse on Walnut Street early Wednesday morning.

The social media-savvy restaurateur posted a security camera image of the suspect to his more than 24,000 twitter followers and offered up a $1,000 reward. The followers took notice, replying to and retweeting Ruby dozens of times.

Behold: Dyson debuts new '360 Eye' robot vacuum

After years and years of tinkering and experimenting, Dyson has released its first robotic vacuum cleaner: Dyson 360 Eye.

The robot uses a panoramic lens to get a 360 degree view of the room, the wesbite says.

If you're lucky enough to own one of these bad boys, the company also offers the Dyson Link app free for iOS and Android users. The app lets you see the maps of the cleaning process, even when you're not at home.

Clean carpets, y'all!
