The woman that had been missing for two weeks was found Saturday in Walnut Hills.
Ashley Winfrey, 28, had been missing since Aug. 21 when she was last seen leaving Deaconess Hospital near University of Cincinnati.
Cincinnati Police listed her as an endangered missing adult because she is reportedly unable to care for herself.
According to a Facebook post on a page dedicated to finding Winfrey, there was a reported sighting of her at the Walnut Hills Kroger Friday. However, the post also said that the cameras were unable to confirm she was in the store.
Winfrey's mother, Dionne, met with a police investigator but they couldn't find her on the store's surveillance cameras.
Dionne told FOX19 that her and her friends went to canvass the area Saturday morning and were handing out fliers and found multiple witnesses who said they had seen her.
Dionne says that she received a call from a relative of Ashley's ex-boyfriend who said Ashley called her. Dionne asked that person to ask Ashley to call her mother, and Ashley did.
Ashley had been staying with someone she met and had taken her in, according to Dionne.
Dionne says that she is thankful that her daughter was safe.
