Blue Ash police need help searching for missing elderly

BLUE ASH, OH (FOX19) -

Blue Ash police officers are searching for a missing man.

According to Blue Ash police, George Ganzter, 84, was last seen leaving his home in the 4400 block of Victor Avenue around 1 p.m. Saturday.

Gantzer is 6 feet tall, 195 pounds, balding with gray hair and blue eyes.  He was last seen wearing a short-sleeved light sweater, khaki shorts, black slip-on shoes, and large-framed glasses, officials said.

Police said Ganzter suffers from advanced dementia.

He is driving a gold 1997 Cadillac DeVille with Ohio license plate number CEX4327. He was accompanied by his dog Shorty, which is a brown and white Jack Russell Terrier.
