(FOX19) -

Once again, Reds broadcaster Joe Nuxhall is up for the Ford Frick Award.

The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum opened up online ballot voting, giving fans the chance to vote for their favorite broadcaster for the 2015 Frick Award.

The award has been presented annually since 1978 to one broadcaster for 'major contributions to baseball,' according to the National Baseball Hall of Fame website.

Eligible candidates for the award are grouped together by years of most significant contributions of their broadcasting careers. The "Living Room Era"--to be presented at the Hall of Fame Awards in 2015--considers candidates whose significant years fell during the mid-1950s through the early 1980s.

More than 40 broadcasters are eligible within the "Living Room Area," including 3 former Reds broadcasters: Joe Nuxhall, Al Michaels and Waite Hoyt.

To vote, visit the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum Facebook page. Fans can submit a vote once every 24 hours.

Eric Nadel, a longtime radio voice of the Texas Rangers, is the 2014 award recipient.
