Police seek suspect in Hamilton stabbing

HAMILTON, OH (FOX19) -

Police are investigating after a man was stabbed multiple times in Hamilton Tuesday night.

The stabbing happened around 8:30 p.m. in the 100 block of Progress Avenue. When police arrived, they found 49-year-old Larry Galloway with multiple stab wounds to his back.

According to the police report, Galloway was in a verbal altercation with two suspects which then escalated into a fight. That's when they stabbed Galloway.

He was transported to University of Cincinnati Medical Center by AirCare. Officials say the wounds are not believed to be life threatening.

Police have identified the suspect in the case as Keith Brumley, 52. He is described as a white male with a prosthetic leg.

Officials say he currently lives in Kentucky but has been a resident of Hamilton in the past.

Police are actively looking for Brumley. Anyone with information about his whereabouts are asked to call Hamilton Police at 513-868-5811 ex. 2001 or call 911.
